How do I upload my pre-existing Minecraft server world?
You can upload your pre-existing world by uploading it in a compressed file and using the file manager or by dragging and dropping the files to your server using an FTP program.
More information on how to connect to your server's FTP can be located here: https://chicagoservers.co/clients/index.php?rp=/knowledgebase/6/How-to-connect-to-your-serverandsharp039s-FTP.html
File Manager Method
First login to your control panel and navigate to your server, then to the File Manager.
Click Upload.
Select the compressed file that contains your pre-existing world and nether folders.
After, find the uploaded zip file and right click it then Extract as pictured below:
The world folder should then appear, as pictured below:
Then navigate to the Configuration Files portion of the control panel and open the server.properties file using the text editor.
Edit it accordingly and set the world name to the name of the folder you just extracted from the uploaded file. Save and Exit after.
Start or restart your server and it should now be active!
