How can I set an active event in the server?

ARK servers can be configured to launch with an active event that the game is currently hosting. This must be first enabled by the developers, then activated on the server.

To activate an active event on your ARK server, follow the steps listed here:

  1. Login to your Game Server Control Panel
  2. Build a custom commandline as pictured below:

Note that you must check each left box of each parameter you want added to the commandline.

At a minimum, ensure that Map and Active Event (Assuming you want to enable one since that's what this article is about) are checked.
Save the commandline then Select it once you are returned to the list of commandlines which will activate it. Your server will be restarted.

If the server fails to boot, double check that you checked the map box and that the map is properly typed. A full list of exact map names can be found on this page: https://chicagoservers.co/clients/knowledgebase/3/How-can-I-change-my-ARK-server-map.html
