How to install Steam workshop mods on your Unturned Server
Mods are a great way to make your Unturned server stand out from the rest. They add tons of different content to the game and can alter your gaming experience. Luckily, our servers support Unturned Workshop mods with automatic downloading!
Automatically Installing Workshop Mods
- Log in to your control panel and Stop your server.
- Find the Workshop Mod you wish to use and acquire the Workshop ID. The Workshop ID will be displayed in the URL.
- Navigate to Configuration Files > WorkshopDownloadConfig.json and edit it with the text editor as pictured below:
- In the
File_IDssection, enter the workshop ID on a new line, then click Save.
* Please note the exact formatting above. There should be a comma after all mod ID numbers, except the last, and also a comma outside of the ending ] symbol, as pictured above.
- Start your server for the mods to be automatically downloaded!
