How do I configure automatic Game/Mod updates?
Our control panel offers automatic updating for both the game and any Steam workshop plugins you install onto your server. It is not enabled by default, but can quickly be configured to your liking with just a few clicks.
- Login to your server control panel and navigate to Scheduled Tasks as pictured below:
You will be able to select Steam Update (Server Version) or Workshop Update (Mods)
* You can only only create one at a time. If you want both, create either one, then repeat the process for the second.
Once there, enter a name such as "Daily update" or "Weekly update" to help you remember how often this will run along with the frequency. The name is just for reference and the actual schedule will be determined by the boxes below it.
2. After those are completed, click Save then Advanced Options
On this portion, you will have additional settings for how the script will respond if there are players in it at the time of it running
Set the "what if" setting to your liking and then click Save.
Done! You've now configured automatic updating for your server!
