What is my Valheim server's password?
By default, your server's password is whatever you specified on the order page.
* Passwords are currently required for a server to start.
You can view/change this at any time by following the steps below:
- Login to the control panel at http://cp.chicagoservers.co
- Navigate to your game server
- Go to Configuration Files and open start_valheim.sh
- Once the file is open, find the quotes "" next to -password and replace "password" with your desired password. Place your text in between the quotation marks.
* Your password must be 5 or more characters long and not contain your server name or world name.
- Save the file and restart your server. You should be good to go!
