How do I add myself as an admin to my Valheim server?
- To add yourself as an admin on your Valheim server, login to it. Then, press the F2 key on your keyboard. In the lower section "Players", you will see their in-game name and their player ID.
Alternatively, you can login to the control panel after you join the server to quickly copy and past your ID. Once you join the server, look for a line similar to the one below in the server console. The ID is highlighted:
- Then, go to Configuration Files and open adminlist.txt
- Once it's open, past the ID in the file, one per line like so:
- Save the file and restart the server.
You should now have access to the admin F5 menu in game!
