How to change your RCON Password or Disable RCON

In order to change/enable your password on a Garry's Mod server, you'll need to follow these steps:

Step 1: Log into your control panel at https://cp.chicagoservers.co.

Step 2: View your game service.

Step 3: Click on the 'Configuration Files' module.

Step 4: Open the server.cfg file in the text editor.

Step 5: Edit the rcon_password setting to equal whatever you'd like the RCON password to be.

Step 6: Save the file.

Step 7: Restart the server.

Step 8: To disable RCON, set the rcon_password setting to be empty ("").
