Your server's address (its IP and port, such as 203.0.113.25:15637) is at the top of its page in the control panel.
- Start Enshrouded, choose Play and open the list of servers to join (Join a Private Game).
- Search for your server by its name (the Server name on the Startup tab). Give the list a few seconds to fill.
- Select your server and enter the password for your role when asked. See Roles and passwords on your Enshrouded server.
An Enshrouded server holds up to 16 players.
Joining by IP address
If your server doesn't show up in the search, add it to your Steam favorites:
- In Steam, open View, then Game Servers.
- On the Favorites tab, click the add button and enter your server's address, for example
203.0.113.25:15637. - In Enshrouded's server list, use the Favorites filter to find your server.
Can't join?
- Not in the list: a server can take a few minutes to start and show up after a restart or an update. Check that it says Running at the top of its page.
- Version mismatch: after a game update, click Update now on the Steam update bar at the top of the server's page. Players on a Steam beta branch of the game should switch back to the normal one (None).
- The server stopped starting: check the Troubleshoot tab. If it began after an update, try Rebuild Wine's files on the Updates tab: it changes nothing in your world or settings.
